From East Valley area in Phoenix: 1. Take Loop 202 or SR 60 (Superstition Freeway) to I-10 South and Exit on SR 347 (exit 164). Head towards town of Maricopa 2. Continue on SR 347 through Maricopa until you reach SR 238 towards Mobile (make a right) 3. SR 238 runs parallel to train tracks for about 30 - 35 miles. SR 238 will end at a STOP sign. Turn left at the STOP sign and it will put you into Gila Bend
From West Valley area in Phoenix: 1. Travel west on I-10 from Phoenix 2. Exit I-10 at State Route 85 exit. 3. Head south on SR 85 through the outskirts of Buckeye and on to Gila Bend
4. Continue through Gila Bend until you reach McDonalds. Turn right at the sign just BEFORE the McDonalds for Mexico/SR 85 South 5. Take SR 85 South to Ajo (39 miles) 6. Continue on SR 85 Soutth to Why, AZ (10 miles) 7. Continue on SR 85 South to Lukeville, AZ (27 miles) 8. Lukeville is the border between USA and Mexico. Once you cross the border, you will be in Sonoyta, Mexico. All distances change to kilometers (from miles). 9. Continue on the main road for ~ 2 miles. You will arrive at a 2-way intersection with a STOP sign. You will see a monument and signs for PTO Penasco and Santa Ana to the left. Make a left at the STOP sign and bear to the RIGHT, follow the signs to PTO Penasco. 10.Stay to the RIGHT towards Puerto Penasco/Caborca at the "Y" on the road. There is a traffic light soon after you bear right. Continue straight through this traffic light to Mexico Highway 8. 11.Once you have gone through Sonoyta, continue on Highway 8 from Sonoyta to Puerto Penasco (~60 miles). Along the way there is a sign that says EL PTO Penasco. DO NOT turn at this sign -- it is in the middle of the desert. Continue on Highway 8 until you see the sign for "Sandy Beach Resorts". You will turn right at the first light when you reach town. This light will have signs for "Sandy Beach Resorts" and it is named Blvd. Samuel Ocana. This is a paved road. 12.Continue on the paved road past the railroad tracks. You will reach a round-about with a Circle K store. Continue on the road and head towards the resorts on the horizon through the arches at Costa Diamante. 13.The guard shack is just ahead at the top of the hill on the left. Just before the turn, you'll see a large yellow sign to your right "Sea Side Condo Rentals". Make a quick left and tell the guard you are checking in at the Princesa and he will wave you on. 14.Follow the road a short distance (it curves to the right) until you see the guard shack for the Princesa. Give your name to the guard - they are expecting you. 15.Pass the gate and make a quick right. You will be checking into the condo in Building 'C", First floor at the SeaSide Reservations desk. 16.Once you are given the keys drive a short distance around to Building "B". The condo is at the end of Building "B" closest to the ocean, on the second floor, Unit B201. There is a spiral staircase right outside the unit or an elevator towards the middle of the building. |
